FIBROID UPDATE: Finally getting it out. In 2023 Fibroid embolization SAVED MY and I am SO thankful I did it. My fibroid was 16cm (4m pregnant belly size) at the time. Surgery wasnt an option unless i had gone on hormone suppressing therapy to shrink it first and therefore reduce bleeding risk. Putting my body in early (reversible) menopause wasnt something i wanted to do and surgery recovery was not a good time as i was about to film a new challenge season. I choose UFE and had one week of down time and was back on my feet. The fibroid shrunk down to where it is today (9cm- about a 2 month pregnant belly size) I have made the decision to finally get the rest of whats left removed. I am scared of surgery. Scared of healing time. Terrified overall. But cant wait to get it over with and get this thing out once and for all. Wish me luck. I will keep you posted on the journey.
