Salt and Pepper Chicken 🐓 Ingredients for chicken (1 serving): 200g chicken breast 2 tsp soy sauce 1 egg Cornflour 1/2 tsp white pepper 1/2 tsp Chinese five spice Pinch of salt Ingredients for stir fry: 1/2 red pepper 1/2 green pepper 1/2 onion 1 spring onion 1/2 red chilli 2 garlic cloves 1/2 tsp Chinese five spice 1/2 tsp white pepper Pinch of salt Pinch of MSG (optional) ——— Method: 1. Crack an egg into a bowl, add the soy sauce, then beat with a fork. Cut the chicken into bite sized cubes and then place it into the bowl. Mix until fully coated in the egg. 2. Place the cornflour in another bowl and mix with the white pepper, salt and Chinese five spice. 3. Transfer the chicken into the dry mix and make sure it’s fully coated. Shake off any excess, shallow fry in veg oil until golden and crispy, then set aside. 4. Roughly dice the pepper and onion. Roughly chop the spring onion and finely slice the chilli, then grate the garlic. 5. Stir fry the pepper, onion, spring onion, chilli and garlic for 3 minutes, then add the crispy chicken. Season with Chinese five spice, white pepper, salt and MSG. Then cook for 1 more minute. 6.
